Albania travel

The coastline of Albania in South Western Europe extends along the Ionian and Adriatic seas, opposite the heal of Italy's boot. Despite proximity to Italy, tourism here is still underdeveloped due the poor infrastructure and high levels of poverty but remote Albania has opened its doors to travellers. Although it still has potholed roads, fields tilled by hand, utilities that regularly fail and the horse and cart as a common mode of transport, Albania is on the move. Albania’s greatest asset is its natural beauty. The scenery along the southern coast is breathtaking as are the mountains in the interior. Adventurous visitors will find it an exciting and rewarding destination.
