Features of a Eurail pass

• Unlimited travel on the national rail networks of 17 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
• Includes selected ferry crossing between: Italy and Greece (a summer surcharge must be paid from June 10 to September 30. Reservations are recommended for July & August), Sweden and Finland (reservation is recommended from June to August), Finland and Germany

Passholder Fares: passes must be validated prior to boarding the first train and travel must be completed bymidnight on the last day of validity of the pass. On some trains, a Passholder Fare may necessitate the use of a travel day on the pass

Eurail Pass

• Validity: 15 days, 21 days, 1 month, 2 months or 3 months (consecutive days) 
• 1st Class (Youth pass 2nd class only) 
• Saverpass valid for 2-5 people travelling together at all times 
• Youth Pass available for travellers under 26yrs (travellers must be under 26yrs on the first day of validity of the pass). 2 nd Class. No Youth Saverpass rate. 
• Children 4-11 years inclusive: half adult fare 
• Children under 4 years: free when sharing a paying passenger's seat/ bed. 

A $5 minimum postage fee applies per booking.  Pass Issuance Fee of $12 applies.

Eurail Flexipass

• Unlimited rail travel in 17 European countries
• Validity: 10 or 15 days within 2 months. 
• Travel days may be used consecutively or non consecutively 
• 1st Class (Youth pass 2nd class only) 
• Saverpass valid for 2-5 people travelling together at all times.

CONDITIONS OF USE

• Residents of Europe, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (former Soviet Union) are not eligible to purchase or use a EurailPass. 
• Passes must be validated prior to first day of use. 
• Passes must be validated within 6 months of issue date. 
• All parties must be present when validating a Eurail Saverpass. 
• Passes must be validated prior to boarding the first train / first use of a travel bonus.
• Travel bonuses may necessitate usage of a travel day. The full list of bonuses can be found in the Eurail Travellers Guide. 
• 7:00pm rule: if a direct overnight train starts after7:00pm on a validatedEurailPass, the passholder must enter the next day's date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass. 
• Certain trains may transit through a country not covered by the pass. In that case an additional ticket must be purchased. 
• Reservation fees are an additional charge and are not inclusive in the cost of the pass. 
• All passes are subject to a non-refundable Pass Issuance Fee of AUD10 per pass.

REFUNDS

• Passes must be presented for refund unused and not validated. 
• A 30% cancellation fee plus AUD30 applies to totally unused passes returned within one year of issuing date. No partial refunds. 
• Eurail passes are not refundable if lost or stolen.
