Q:  When is the best time to book for Europe and should I also book my accommodation and tours?
A:  Europe early bird promotions are released around early October for the European Summer. We recommend that you should also look at securing your apartment stays and hotels to avoid disappointment as the best ones gets booked out early.

Q:  How far in advance can a seat reservation be made for rail travel in Europe and is it worth getting a pass?
A:  In most cases 60 days before travelling time.  Not all trains require a compulsory reservation however it is highly recommended to pre-book seats when travelling in peak seasons like the European summer and holiday periods. Reservations are required for some high-speed trains such as the TGV, sleeper trains or if you want a couchette during an overnight journey. Reservations can be made with us are subject to availability? And yes you should look at purchasing a rail pass as these can offer excellent value subject to your requirements.

Q:  Can I request a forward facing, window or aisle seat or a specific seat number for my rail travel?
A:   No. The International Reservations system does not have the facility to select what seat you wish to sit in.

Q:  When is the best time to go to Europe?
A:  Christmas time is less crowded and you have the chance to experience the magical snow of the season. European Spring and Autumn (from late April till Mid June and late August to early October) are also very popular. July and August can be very busy due to local school holidays.
