    OVERVIEW
    DETAILED ITINERARY

    Day 1:
 Arrive Paris

    You will be picked up from the airport or rail station and transferred by private car to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon at leisure.



    Day 2:
 Paris (B)

    Your guide will meet you and accompany you  on foot or by metro. In the vicinity of the Madeleine Church you will have the opportunity to meet shop keepers and taste a range of gourmet specialties, including truffles, regional cheeses and pastries. You can take a cruise and champagne tastingin the evening at 6pm (available Thursday, Friday and Saturday). The sommelier will explain about the wine and will provide insight on the history of the monuments you will pass during the cruise.

    Day 3: 
Paris (B)

    You can observe the art of cheese making (every day except Sunday and Monday from 1pm to 3pm).. Our cheese merchant is one of only 5 in Paris who matures her cheese in the cellar of her shop. You can visit the cellar and she will explain the art of maturation, the different cheese “families” and how to recognize cheese according to their region. Your will enjoy tasting 7 seasonal rare cheeses. Also offered is an exquisite selection of breads and an appropriate selection of wine from small producers.

    Day 4: 
Paris (B)

    Meet at the Saint Sulpice Church for a guided discovery of the fabulous “temples to gastronomy” on the Left Bank of Paris: historical bistros and cafés; fabulous cheese, pastry and chocolate shop. You’ll also visit the Ladurée tearoom and taste their famous macaroons. The tour concludes around 1pm and the afternoon is free.



    At 5pm a wine tastingbegins in an historic cellar right near the Louvre. The sommelier will teach you how to read a French label and how to navigate a wine list The tasting is conducted on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Finish at 7pm then the evening is free.

    Day 5:  Depart Paris (B)

    Transfer to airport or to a railway station.

    • Two half day walking tours, including tasting with a private guide
    • Champagne tasting and Seine river cruise
